Happily-sponsored event

Event participation terms

Halloween, brought to you by Happily · Saturday, October 17, 2026 · 3–5 PM Eastern · West Village, Manhattan

Draft for review. These terms are not in effect yet. Items marked “For review” need a decision by Happily and, where noted, legal counsel before RSVPs open. Nothing here is a waiver of your legal rights.

Organizer and event

This event is organized by Happily NYC and is Happily-sponsored. “Happily”, “we” and “us” in these terms mean Happily NYC.

Halloween, brought to you by Happily is a Saturday afternoon barcrawl in the West Village, Manhattan, on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 3 to 5 PM Eastern. The meeting point is to be confirmed and will be posted on the event page before the event.

For review: Confirm the exact legal name and contact address of the organizing entity to show here. These terms do not name a registered company.

Attendance

No tickets are needed. An RSVP is appreciated and helps us plan, but it does not guarantee entry to any venue.

Each participating venue controls its own capacity and admission. Taking part is voluntary.

You are responsible for getting to and from the event, for your belongings and for anything you buy, apart from an eligible Scout reward.

Age and ID

This is a 21+ event. Bring valid photo ID. Each venue may check it and may refuse entry or service.

The age you give when you RSVP does not replace an ID check. We never ask for your date of birth or a copy of your ID.

Conduct

Be respectful to other guests, staff, venue teams and neighbors. Harassment, threats and unsafe behavior are not tolerated, and Happily staff or a venue may ask anyone to leave.

Follow directions from Happily staff and venue teams, including on walks between venues.

Don’t carry open alcoholic drinks on the street. Drink responsibly and don’t drive after drinking.

Venue rules

Each venue’s own rules and policies apply while you are there.

Alcohol is served only by the licensed venue, which decides whether to serve you. Venues do not serve anyone under 21 or anyone who appears intoxicated.

For review: Confirm the participating venues, their house rules and accessibility information.

Scout rewards

  1. Eligibility. Scout levels are the levels shown on your profile in the Happily app. Level 2 qualifies for one eligible happy-hour drink. Level 3 qualifies for one eligible happy-hour drink plus merch. Any perks for higher levels will be announced separately; none are promised until they are announced.
  2. Timing. The qualifying level must be earned before 3:00 PM Eastern on Saturday, October 17, 2026. Levels reached after that time do not qualify for this event.
  3. Verification. Show your level in the Happily app to Elias or an authorized Happily staff member. Staff may decline a reward if the level cannot be verified.
  4. One drink per person. Happily funds at most one drink per person for the entire event, regardless of level, number of venues visited or number of accounts. Rewards do not stack.
  5. Where and what. Redeem only at the participating bar the group is visiting at the time, for an available happy-hour drink approved by Elias and served by that venue.
  6. Age and service. You must be 21 or older with valid photo ID. The venue decides whether to serve you.
  7. No substitutes. No cash alternative, transfer to another person or repeat redemption.
  8. Availability. Merch and higher-level perks depend on confirmed availability. Specific items are not guaranteed.

For review: Confirm the Happily-funded drink arrangement and this promotional wording in writing with each licensed venue before public activation; New York State Liquor Authority rules restrict some free-drink promotions. Decide which merch is available and how staff verify and record redemptions.

Changes and cancellation

Details may change, including the meeting point, venues, timing and rewards. We will post updates on the event page and email people who RSVP’d about significant changes.

If we have to cancel or postpone, we will say so on the event page and email people who RSVP’d. No tickets are sold, so there is nothing to refund.

For review: Decide the bad-weather plan and how last-minute changes on the day will be communicated.

Privacy

When you RSVP we ask for your name, email, age and, if you choose, your phone number. We use them to manage the guest list, confirm the 21+ requirement and contact you about this event, such as the meeting point or a change of plans.

Your RSVP does not sign you up for marketing emails.

For review: Publish a privacy notice that covers event RSVPs and link it here; the website privacy page currently says “coming soon”. Decide where RSVP data is stored, who can see it and how long it is kept. No retention period has been set.

Photography

Happily may take photos and video at the event and may use event photos in Happily marketing, such as our website and social media.

If you don’t want to appear in identifiable promotional photos, tell Elias or a Happily staff member at check-in, or email elias@happilynyc.com. We will do our best not to feature you.

RSVPing is not permission for unlimited use of your name or likeness. Any other use, such as featuring you individually in paid advertising, would need your separate permission.

Please ask before photographing or tagging other guests.

For review: Confirm the photo wording with counsel, how opt-outs are recognized on the day, and what Happily will do if someone asks for an existing photo to be removed.
